MEMORIAL SERVICE:

There is no parking at the stadium and therefore people attending the Memorial Service will leave their vehicles at the park-and-ride, which will be located at Nasrec, where they will make use of a shuttle service to take them to Orlando Stadium. The last shuttle to the stadium will depart the park-and-ride at 09:00.
Mourners are requested to arrive at Nasrec park-and-ride, starting from 04h30am and the last luxury coaches for transporting mourners from the park-and-ride to Orlando Stadium will be at 09:00. All mourners are expected to be seated by 10:00 at Orlando Stadium.
No private cars will be allowed entry at the stadium.
The burial service will be private as per the family’s request. All mourners will remain at Orlando Stadium to view the burial service by video link Mourners will be guided to lunch venues by protocol officials.

The African National Congress continues to celebrate and honour the life of an outstanding leader of our movement and Mother of the Nation, Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. Over the next few days, the ANC will hold various provincial memorial services in seven (7) provinces and one (1) National memorial service in Mbizana, Eastern Cape. Ours is not only to eulogize Mama Winnie but to draw the much needed lessons from such a selfless, courageous and ever patriotic leader.
